Pillsbury client R3 Strategic Support Group, a government defense contractor run by U.S. veterans, was victorious in its effort to shut down a rival’s attempt to block R3 from bidding on a $50 million government bomb-disposal contract. A U.S. District Judge rejected the rival company’s contention the two companies were formerly partners and had agreed to bid on the contract together and, therefore, R3 should be blocked from pursuing the project. But the court found that the agreement was unenforceable and denied the request to block R3’s bid.

R3 is represented by Litigation partner Michael McNamara, Government Contracts & Disputes partner Richard Oliver and associates Clare Cavaliero and Robert Boyd.
