During President Trump’s state visit to the UK this week, London and Washington are set to formalize a bilateral agreement aimed at enabling companies in both countries to participate in each other’s nuclear energy developments.

In an interview with The New York Times, London-based Energy partner Vince Zabielski affirmed that the long-term benefits of large-scale domestic energy production surpass its challenges.

“Replacing reliance on imports with domestic carbon-free power will contribute significantly to the U.K.’s energy security,” he said.
