In a recent article by Business Insurance, insurance professionals, including Insurance Recovery & Advisory partner Robert Wallan, discuss the appropriate measures policyholders should follow in the event of a cyber-attack.
However, with unestablished legal guidelines and relatively little litigation regarding cyber policies, Wallan believes that “cyber coverage is a new animal” compared to other areas of insurance. “We don’t have a really developed body of case law on cyber insurance issues.”
