Women in Law Empowerment Forum

Ambition, drive, grit, perseverance! Common wisdom says one or more of these attributes are a prerequisite for professional success, yet many women are uncomfortable with these labels. From their varied perspectives, moderator and speakers will address the role of ambition in their own success and in the success of the more junior lawyers with whom they have interacted. They will also discuss the role of risk-taking in one’s career trajectory; how to communicate ambition in the face of unconscious bias and in double-bind predicaments; and the existence of generational differences in the way women view their professional goals.
