Catherine Meyer, counsel in Pillsbury’s insolvency and restructuring practice in Los Angeles, spoke to China Central Television on how governments can help address cybersecurity issues.

“California has been a leader in protecting consumers and protecting information,” Meyer said. “I think that the legislature of the government in California realized that the Internet was here to stay and that there was a high risk for consumers’ information to be misused through the Internet.”
