Alan Kalin, a partner in Pillsbury’s Corporate practice, has more than 30 years of experience representing emerging growth companies, entrepreneurs, investors and public companies in the Silicon Valley.

Concentrating in corporate and securities matters, Alan advises clients on securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, new business formations, strategic technology transactions and general corporate matters.

Alan became a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Illinois in 1975.

Representative Experience

  • Mr. Kalin has led more than 100 M&A transactions, nearly half of which were for publicly traded company clients, including the $3.9 billion sale of NetLogic Microsystems Inc. to Broadcom Corp.
  • Mr. Kalin has led hundreds of financing transactions for companies and investors.
  • Mr. Kalin has led multiple IPO and follow on public offerings.
