Carissa Lee is an associate who focuses her practice on general corporate matters, including venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and securities law compliance.
Carissa works with a variety of public and private clients, across a variety of industries, through all stages of their life cycle, including formation, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions and private equity. In addition to her company-side representation, she also advises venture capital firms and strategic investors on their investments in early-stage to late-stage companies.
Representative Experience
- Represented HGP in its $1.2 billion pending business combination with special purpose acquisition company Meshflow Acquisition, resulting in HGP becoming a publicly traded company on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
- Represented Kiteworks in connection with its $456 million growth equity financing.
- Represented Clearwater Paper in connection with the sale of its tissue business to Sofidel America, a subsidiary of Sofidel S.p.A., for $1.06 billion.
