Pillsbury advised Dotdigital Group plc, a leading provider of an AI-powered customer experience and data platform for intelligent, personalized marketing at scale, on its recent acquisition of Alia Software Inc., an AI-powered pop-up and email/SMS list-growth platform built exclusively for Shopify merchants.
Alia helps e-commerce brands convert more visitors into email and SMS subscribers with AI-optimized, brand-aligned pop-ups and interactive experiences.
The acquisition strengthens Dotdigital’s ability to convert anonymous website visitors into known customers by capturing first- and zero-party data early in the customer journey and activating it across email, SMS and other digital marketing channels.
