From pricing algorithms to data transparency, California’s new laws continue to solidify its reputation as the forerunner in regulating development and deployment of AI.
Christine Mastromonaco counsels clients, including consumer-facing brands, high-growth platforms and enterprise service providers, in a variety of industries, including tech, retail, healthcare and financial services on data optimization strategies, consumer and employee privacy, consumer protection, and regulatory defense matters.
She is a trusted advisor on the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other comprehensive state privacy regimes. As the privacy landscape continues to evolve, she negotiates data transfer agreements and advises on issues arising from sensitive data processing, automated decision-making technology (ADMT) and online tracking technologies. Christine also works with clients to align digital marketing practices, SMS campaigns and automatic renewal programs with FTC guidance, FCC regulations and parallel state requirements.
