Debby has been achieving winning results for more than 30 years, prosecuting and defending a wide range of business cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and before arbitration tribunals. She has tried more than 17 civil cases to conclusion before judges, juries and arbitration tribunals, and countless evidentiary hearings on TROs, preliminary injunctions and other matters.

Debby’s broad practice includes product liability, complex commercial, real estate, corporate, fiduciary and health care disputes, and international arbitrations.

Representative Experience

  • Obtained complete defense victory for home oxygen provider in $120 million claim arising out of Medicare Advantage members’ use of oxygen equipment.
  • Led trial team in a complete defense victory for a trust company in a highly publicized lawsuit brought by members of a prominent family who sought millions of dollars in damages and to remove the trustee.
  • Obtained a multimillion-dollar judgment on behalf of an investment fund in a matter arising out of the sale of a major commercial office center.

  • Prevailed in the defense of an international manufacturer of paper production machinery in litigation seeking to enjoin the sale of a paper plant.
  • Defended celebrity chef in suit by Trump Group in connection with chef’s termination of lease in Trump International Hotel following (former President) Donald Trump’s comments regarding immigrants in 2016 primaries.
