Hanzhi Lin represents clients in complex cross-border litigation and international arbitration, with a particular focus on U.S.-China disputes.

Hanzhi has represented clients in cross-border disputes, including litigation, enforcement proceedings and arbitrations under the HKIAC, SIAC and CIETAC rules. His experience spans a broad range of industries, including banking, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and real estate. Prior to joining Pillsbury, Hanzhi practiced at a leading Chinese law firm, where he focused on dispute resolution, restructuring and insolvency matters.

Hanzhi is not admitted in Hong Kong.

Representative Experience

  • Assisted in complex commercial litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, helping secure a jury verdict awarding approximately $2.2 million to the clients after a prior $1.98 million judgment against them was vacated, resulting in an over $4 million turnaround.
  • Representing a major international company in a high-value ad hoc arbitration arising out of an investment dispute.
