Kathleen Barnes is a consultant in Pillsbury’s Litigation practice, focusing on wine, beer & spirits law matters.
Prior to joining Pillsbury, Kathleen spent over two decades with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, including serving as Assistant Director of the Southern California division from January 2017 through December 2020. Kathleen handled planning directing and overseeing the licensing, enforcement and administrative functions as well as specialized units in the Department’s Southern California division. She participated in and implemented policy and regulatory development and revision, personnel development and allocation and made recommendations to the Director’s office regarding the goals, tone and direction of the department.
