Lindsey Mitchell focuses her practice on international arbitration and dispute resolution.

Lindsey represents clients in complex cross-border disputes, including international commercial and investor–state arbitrations, and has advised both private entities and investors in matters involving sovereign governments. Lindsey has experience with disputes arising under investment treaties and commercial contracts and is familiar with proceedings governed by the ICSID, HKIAC and ICC Arbitration Rules.

Representative Experience

  • Advised investors in multiple investor–state arbitrations, including disputes with an Eastern European state involving the value of a cryptocurrency investment, a South American state concerning a transportation concession, an Asian government regarding offshore drilling royalty rights, and a Northern African nation involving a technology supply contract.
  • Advised a private equity firm in litigation involving allegations of trade secret misappropriation.
  • Assisted a U.S. state attorney general’s office in prosecuting a landmark gun safety case.
