As a senior associate in Pillsbury’s Insurance Recovery & Advisory practice, Max Cardin helps clients evaluate, structure, negotiate and place transactional risk insurance products designed to facilitate deal execution and manage risk.
Max advises clients on transactional risk and contingent liability insurance solutions in connection with complex corporate transactions, tax matters and strategic business initiatives.
His practice focuses on representations and warranties, tax liability, tax credit and contingent liability insurance. Drawing on his background as a corporate attorney, Max works with private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, investors and deal counsel to identify insurable risks, negotiate coverage and develop customized solutions that support transaction objectives and protect enterprise value.
