He previously served as a trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, litigating environmental tort matters in federal court. Before joining Pillsbury, he practiced at an Am Law 100 firm in Houston, representing clients in products liability, mass tort and fiduciary litigation, as well as complex commercial disputes arising from catastrophic injuries and industrial incidents.
Representative Experience
- Litigated Federal Tort Claims Act suits arising from water contamination and toxic substance exposure (including PFAS), with damages claims totaling billions of dollars.
- Advised federal agencies on administrative claims related to personal injuries and property damage attributed to hazardous materials exposure following a train derailment.
- Represented multinational energy clients in long-tail liability matters in California, Pennsylvania and Texas.
