In addition to transforming software, AI is fueling a boom in the physical infrastructure that powers it. Data centers have become a major investment focus, benefiting chipmakers and companies supplying networking, cabling, assembly, power and cooling. According to recent coverage, investors can tap this growth through real estate investment trusts (REITs), tower operators, or exchange-traded funds (ETFs), while emerging opportunities exist in energy, grid management and construction. While AI trends may come and go, the underlying infrastructure remains essential, offering long-term investment potential.

In a recent interview with Bloomberg Law, Real Estate associate Allan Van Vliet noted, “It would not surprise me if, over the next couple years, you start seeing more opportunities for consumers to make investments in these projects and sectors.”
