Corporate & Securities partner Anna Graves is interviewed about her experience in restaurant, food and beverage law by Harvard Law School on a recent podcast. As the co-leader of Pillsbury’s Restaurant, Food & Beverage Industry Group, Graves has considerable knowledge in the field.  She gives a broad overview of restaurant and food law, discusses some of the unique aspects of the practice, and describes the complexities it faces. “It’s every kind of law you can imagine,” Graves said. “The restaurant industry is the second largest employer in the United States.” She also discusses some of the areas that are distinctive to the restaurant, food and beverage industry, including ABC law, gift cards, food claims and menu labeling, franchising, loyalty programs, and brand licensing and identity.
