ATOMEXPO 2019 Forum

The ATOMEXPO International Forum is a major event in the international nuclear industry. It is the largest exhibition and business platform for discussing the current state of the nuclear industry and setting future trends, and has been held annually since 2009.

The Forum is attended by executives from key companies working in the global nuclear industry, government agencies, international and non-commercial organizations, and leading experts.It is a high distinction to be invited to be a speaker.

On Monday, April 15, Elina will moderate the “Building Nuclear Infrastructure as a Key Component for the Sustainability of Nuclear Projects” Roundtable. The Roundtable features the following speakers, Michail Chudakov, Deputy Director General, Head of the Department of Nuclear Energy, IAEA; David Drury, NKM Section Head, IAEA; Prof. Dr. Amged El-Wakeel, Board Chairman, Nuclear Power Plants Authority. Greg Kaser, Senior Project Manager, World Nuclear Association (WNA); Ibrahim Halil Dere, General Director of the General Department for Nuclear Energy, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkey; Tony Hemminki, president and CEO, Fennovoima; Jose BASTOS, Technical lead on nuclear power infrastructure for countries embarking in new nuclear power programmes, nuclear energy department, IAEA; Dr. Roland Msiska, head of ZAMATOM, Zambia; Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, First Deputy Minister of energy of Uzbekistan, Director of Uzatom.

On Tuesday, April 16, Elina will moderate and present during the  “Nuclear infrastructure development as a necessary pillar for nuclear projects sustainability” Roundtable as part of the IAEA Nuclear Energy Management School for Managers in Nuclear Organizations, in conjunction with the ATOMEXPO. The Roundtable will feature the following speakers and their respective topics:

• David Drury, Section Head, Nuclear Knowledge Management, IAEA Capacity building, knowledge management and nuclear workforce: challenges and lessons learnt
