A team of Pillsbury lawyers represented software platform SamCart, Inc. in a $10 million Series A funding round to provide an e-commerce platform for direct-to-consumer brands.

The Series A will enable the company to invest in marketing efforts and build out its team in Austin and Washington, D.C., with a focus on customer support and go-to-market and product engineers.

SamCart is an Austin-based, e-commerce platform for direct-to-consumer brands. SamCart's mission is to empower entrepreneurs and brands with the tools they need to succeed by focusing on the product level and allowing customers to create beautiful sites that showcase their products, convert visitors into customers and increase the value of purchases.
