Intellectual Property partner and Pillsbury board member Callie Bjurstrom has been selected as one of San Diego’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Law within the San Diego area.

A tenacious client advocate, Bjurstrom has successfully tried cases to verdict as lead counsel in both state and federal courts, as well as represented clients before the International Trade Commission. The San Diego-based lawyer litigates patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, unfair competition and unfair business practices disputes. Bjurstrom skillfully protects her clients’ IP rights in such diverse industries as medical devices, health information technology, telecommunications, gaming, manufacturing, entertainment and consumer products, among others.

Currently, Bjurstrom is representing a large health information services and technology company in a trade secret case in the Southern District of California. She also represents a medical device company in both a patent and a trade secret case against a competitor and former executives valued at more than $100 million. Bjurstrom is involved in numerous pro bono activities throughout the San Diego region.

Bjurstrom has received numerous other awards in recent years such as Best Lawyers awards for Intellectual Property Litigation and Patent Litigation. The Daily Journal has also honored her with a Top Women Lawyers award and multiple Top IP Litigator awards.
