Thiemann Joins the Firm as a Consultant to the Wine, Beer & Spirits Law Practice

Adding further depth to Pillsbury’s nationally recognized Wine, Beer & Spirits Law practice, the firm is welcoming Christopher Thiemann as a consultant based in Washington, DC. Thiemann comes to the firm after serving as the Distilled Spirits Program Manager in the Regulations and Rulings Division of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).
“We are very pleased to have Chris join our practice,” said Carrie Bonnington, the leader of the Wine Beer & Spirits Law practice. “He brings valuable expertise in federal alcohol regulations and deep industry connections that will allow us to better serve the needs of our clients nationwide.”
Thiemann joined TTB in 2008 as a Presidential Management Fellow and also spent time in the Office of Global Health Affairs in the Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services. Most recently, he had been leading TTB’s initiative to modernize regulations related to the labeling and advertising of wine, distilled spirits and malt beverages.
