Christopher Thiemann is a consultant for Pillsbury’s Wine, Beer & Spirits Law practice, helping clients navigate the regulatory landscape.

Previously the Distilled Spirits program manager for the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, Christopher has extensive experience regarding regulations for wine, distilled spirits, malt beverages/beer and tobacco. Christopher advises wineries, distillers, breweries, retailers and non-licensed parties on state and federal alcohol beverage regulatory areas throughout the entire product life cycle, from formulation, to labeling, to marketing and distribution and sale.

Representative Experience

  • Providing national alcohol beverage regulatory advice for major suppliers and retailers, including advising on excise tax, marketing, formulation, labeling and trade practices.
  • Advising non-licensed entities regarding alcohol beverage laws throughout the United States.
  • Consulting on regulatory issues related to alcohol beverages, hemp and other intoxicating beverages, and tobacco marketing.
