Pillsbury has landed on the Financial Times first-ever “Most Digital Law Firms” list in the publication’s Innovative Lawyers: North America 2020 special report.

This marks the 11th year that the Financial Times has published its special report on innovation in the North American legal industry. This year, the report focused on the underlying trends the pandemic has established in the profession including the move to digitalization and agile working; the increasing complexity of client challenges; and the changing career expectations of young lawyers.

The firms featured in the “Most Digital Law Firms” ranking are those that scored highest on the publication’s data and technology questionnaire. Some 247 submissions and nominations were received from 71 law firms and 35 in-house legal teams this year. Read the full report here.

In addition, Pillsbury was shortlisted as one of North America’s most innovative law firms as part of the publication’s 2020 Innovative Law Firms program for enabling business response to COVID-19 for its ongoing work advising the LA Unified School District in developing and implementing a first-of-its-kind COVID-19 testing program.
