In the Human Rights Campaign’s 2020 Corporate Equality Index, Pillsbury has once again been recognized with a 100-percent rating. The annual index benchmarks corporate policies and practices regarding LGBTQ employees and identifies the “best places to work for LGBTQ equality.”

“These companies know that protecting their LGBTQ employees and customers from discrimination is not just the right thing to do—it is also the best business decision,” said HRC President Alphonso David. “In addition, many of these leaders are also advocating for the LGBTQ community and equality under the law in the public square.”

Pillsbury takes great pride in its steadfast commitment to building a diverse and inclusive culture. The firm was among the first to promote women to partnership and the first large, national firm in the U.S. to elect a woman as its top leader. Year after year, Pillsbury’s inclusion efforts are recognized by Vault.com, the National Association of Female Executives and the Human Rights Campaign, among other organizations. The firm earned the 2017 Law Firm of the Year Award from Chambers Women in Law for furthering women’s career progression. To learn more about Pillsbury’s inclusive culture, click here.
