WorldECR magazine has again recognized Pillsbury as a top law firm advising on global export control and sanctions matters in connection with the publication’s 2018 WorldECR Awards. Award honorees were announced in WorldECR’s July 2018 issue, where Pillsbury’s practice is highlighted in three categories for its multidisciplinary capabilities and deep global bench.
This year, International Trade senior associate Benjamin Cote has been “highly commended” in the Young Practitioner of the Year category. The publication notes that clients are “consistently impressed with Ben’s ability to navigate the complex and interconnected regulations applicable to their transactions.” Cote’s practice focuses on advising companies across sectors and around the world on a broad range of global trade matters, including export controls and embargoes, CFIUS reviews, foreign ownership mitigation for Defense Security Service-cleared facilities, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the Foreign Trade Regulations, trade remedy laws, Section 232 investigations and the Lacey Act.
Pillsbury’s London-based International Trade team also achieved a “highly commended” accolade from WorldECR in the Export Controls Law Firm of the Year, Europe category.
