Litigation partner Jennifer Altman (Florida) and Corporate Investigations & White Collar Defense partner Aaron Dyer (California) have been named to Forbes’ inaugural list of America’s Best-in-State Lawyers, which recognizes top legal professionals across all 50 states.

The list was developed through a thorough, multi-stage process that included interviews with industry insiders, outside nominations and input from an independent advisory board. To qualify for consideration, lawyers had to be active, licensed and in good standing. Thousands of attorneys across a wide range of practice areas, including litigation, transactional, employment, intellectual property and M&A, were evaluated for their experience, professional reputation and peer endorsements.

Jennifer Altman is the managing partner of Pillsbury’s Miami office. She has first-chaired 30 trials in state and federal courts and in arbitration forums across the United States and internationally, including the American Arbitration Association, Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, Inc. (JAMS), the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the American Health Lawyers Association. Altman has proven success in complex bet-the-company cases as lead trial lawyer, but she is equally adept at providing strategic advice designed to assist clients in evaluating operational risks to avoid the pitfalls of litigation where possible.

Aaron Dyer, Pillsbury’s Corporate Investigations & White Collar Defense Practice Group Co-Leader, is a former federal prosecutor and experienced trial attorney whose practice focuses on complex criminal and civil litigation and regulatory enforcement actions. Dyer represents individuals and corporations in internal investigations and intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on securities, health care, the False Claims Act and intellectual property theft and piracy. He also advises clients on corporate governance issues and the implementation of corporate compliance programs.
