Jennifer Altman is the managing partner of Pillsbury’s Miami office. Recognized as a leading commercial litigator by Chambers USA, she has first-chaired 30 trials in state and federal courts and in arbitration forums across the United States and internationally, including the American Arbitration Association, JAMS, the ICC and the American Health Lawyers Association.
Jennifer has proven success in complex bet-the-company cases as lead trial lawyer, but she is equally adept at providing strategic advice designed to assist clients in evaluating operational risks to avoid the pitfalls of litigation where possible.

Jennifer co-leads our Product Liability practice, having handled high-profile product liability matters, including for a major chemical manufacturer, a manufacturer of industrial and heavy equipment, and an established automotive company. She currently sits on the firm’s PFAS task force. In addition to first-chairing complex commercial cases of all types, including class action matters both on the plaintiff and defense side, a portion of Jennifer’s practice is dedicated to sophisticated health-care-related litigation, having represented most large health plans, as well as some providers. Her experience includes all aspects of trial and appellate work.
