The program will feature two expert panels:
Inflection Point: Lessons Learned and Path Forward on Nuclear Energy Policy
This panel will reflect on the legislative and executive progress made since the Trump administration’s 2025 nuclear energy Executive Orders and explore the legal and regulatory implications of accelerating new nuclear energy deployment. Speakers will examine key challenges and opportunities in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) licensing reform, and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) programs required to implement the nation’s nuclear energy goals.
Developments in Financing New Nuclear Projects
This discussion will focus on the rapidly evolving landscape of nuclear energy financing. Panelists will address key barriers and examine innovative approaches to financing new nuclear projects—from microreactors and SMRs to large-scale plants.
