In a May 12 Bloomberg article titled "Trump Lawyers: Tax Returns Show Little Income From Russians," partner Michael Kosnitzky weighed in on the value of the letter President Donald Trump’s personal lawyers wrote stating that his tax returns from the past decade show no income from Russian sources or debts to Russian lenders—with a few exceptions. Kosnitzky shared some of the questions raised by the letter and some of the ways income can be hidden.
