Pillsbury has advised J.F. Lehman & Company on its acquisition of Waste Control Specialists LLC—the owner and operator of a waste disposal, storage and treatment facility in Andrews County, Texas—from NYSE-listed Valhi Inc.
The strategic purchase represents JFLCO’s fourth investment in the environmental and technical services sector.
The unique WCS facility specializes in handling regulated waste streams. It is the only site in the United States licensed to process and dispose of Class A, B, and C low-level nuclear waste from government and commercial generators located in all 50 states.
