Pillsbury Client Feetz is hoping to jump start its business through a new partnership with footwear giant DSW Inc.

Feetz is a San Diego-based startup company that uses 3-D printing technology to make custom-fit shoes. Feetz’ technology and DSW’s retail footprint will combine to bring affordable, custom-fit shoes to shoppers.

Feetz founder and CEO, Lucy Beard, said the company’s new 3-D printing manufacturing facility in San Diego can fill thousands of custom shoe orders each month.

“We’ve been amazed with the demand and the positive feedback we’ve received from our early Feetz customers,” Beard said. “DSW’s impressive reach and customer centricity makes them the perfect partner for Feetz.”

Corporate & Securities – Tech partner Christian Salaman, with associate Ryan Delaney and Consulting Manager Martin Bridges, represented Feetz in the deal with DSW.

Last year, Salaman and San Francisco associate David Ajalat advised Feetz as it completed a $1 million seed funding round. The company was also recognized as a finalist at the 2015 SXSW Accelerator Awards, which recognizes innovative startup concepts.
