Marking its seventh consecutive year of recognition, Pillsbury was once again named a leading international law firm by China Business Law Journal in its annual awards program. The firm received two honors, earning the Cross-Border Litigation Practice Award and the Aviation Sector Award.
These latest accolades follow China Business Law Journal’s recognition of the firm with five Deal of the Year awards earlier this year.
The awards are determined through a rigorous selection process that includes reviews of hundreds of firm submissions and thousands of client assessments from corporate executives, in-house counsel and legal professionals. In addition to client and peer feedback, China Business Law Journal also considers input from government bodies, members of the judiciary and academic institutions.
In highlighting the firm’s Aviation Sector Award, the publication specifically recognized the firm’s work advising numerous Chinese airlines on regulatory and operational issues affecting U.S. flight operations, including restrictions arising from the Russia-Ukraine conflict and other U.S. aviation limitations. The firm also assisted airlines seeking to enter the U.S. market, providing guidance on compliance with the U.S. Corporate Transparency Act and related filing requirements.
The publication further noted the firm’s representation of Amerijet in a commercial venture with global logistics companies involving the launch of new cargo flight operations connecting the U.S. with South Korea and China.
