Pillsbury earned top honors at Asian Legal Business’ 2026 Hong Kong Law Awards, receiving the Equity Market Deal of the Year award for its role in Chery Automobile’s landmark listing on the Main Board of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited.
Pillsbury advised Chery Automobile on U.S. outbound investment regulations in connection with its HK$9.15 billion listing, helping the company navigate the evolving regulatory considerations associated with the offering. Representing a significant equity market milestone for one of China’s leading automakers, the transaction was also named a Deal of the Year by China Business Law Journal.
In addition to its Equity Market Deal of the Year win, Pillsbury was named a finalist for International Arbitration Law Firm of the Year. Greater China practice co-leader Geoffrey Sant was also shortlisted for Dispute Resolutions Lawyer of the Year.
