For the second year running, Chambers and Partners has recognized Pillsbury and partners Jennifer Jordan McCall (Estates, Trust & Tax Planning), Paul Jebely (Transportation Finance) and Kim Schoknecht (Estates, Trusts & Tax Planning) in its High Net Worth Guide. This is the second year that Chambers has released this guide, with Pillsbury earning recognition in the inaugural 2016 edition as well.

Market commentators described Pillsbury as providing “well-rounded advice” and having “a wide range of expertise in private client matters.” Reflective of her recognitions in both the national and Northern California sections of the guide, McCall was recognized for her “formidable track record,” with one peer noting that “she is a very strong advocate for her clients” that they “would recommend…to deal with a sensitive client situation.” Sources described Schoknecht as “a very good planner who works hard” and “very experienced with trust and probate administration.” Meanwhile, Jebely, Pillsbury’s Hong Kong Office Managing Partner, was ranked as a “Band 1” practitioner in the Global-wide Private Aircraft category for the second year in a row. Jebely, who is highly regarded for aircraft financing and leasing matters, is described by sources as “very helpful, very thorough and very knowledgeable, especially for the region.” Chambers goes on to identify his main strength as “his ability to communicate and keep things understandable for the client.”
