Rob James Appointed as Senior Fellow of the Institute for Carbon Removal

Located in Washington, DC, American University’s Institute for Carbon Removal Law & Policy is dedicated to the advancement of sustainable removal of legacy carbon from the atmosphere. Reforestation, oceanic and wetland sequestration, regenerative agriculture and biochar production, among many others, are all taken into consideration while technical research and development are still underway.

For 40 years at Pillsbury, Rob James has helped clients achieve their goals on complex energy, construction and infrastructure transactions. His work spans sectors, including renewable and conventional power generation, transmission and storage; fuel production, refining and transportation; LNG, carbon capture and sequestration, chemicals and mining; and public transit, universities and health care infrastructure.
