David Wright advises clients on commercial real estate transactions and financings, ground-up construction projects, fund investments and affordable housing developments.
David represents a broad range of clients on real estate matters, including Fortune 500 companies, foreign investors, government-sponsored enterprises and family offices. He regularly advises clients on real estate acquisitions and dispositions, financings, developments, various asset management matters and affordable housing developments and investments.
Before joining Pillsbury, David externed for the Honorable Leslie E. Kobayashi, U.S. District Judge for the U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii. He is also a native Chinese speaker.
Representative Experience
- Represented large financial services corporation in connection with the rollup of direct and indirect equity interests in a large portfolio of low-income housing tax credit properties into a master equity fund—as well as an offering of interests in the multi-billion dollar master fund. This transaction represents one of the largest secondary market offerings in the history of the low-income housing tax credit industry.
- Represented Ventura Foods in the sale of its Marie’s® dressings and Dean’s Dip® businesses to Brynwood Partners.
