David W. Wright

David Wright advises clients on complex commercial litigation matters and corporate investigations. He often represents U.S. and Chinese corporations and individuals with global operations.

David also advises clients on commercial real estate transactions, financings, and asset management matters.

Before joining Pillsbury, David externed for the Hon. Leslie E. Kobayashi, U.S. District Judge for the U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii, and for the U.S. Department of Transportation – Maritime Administration (MARAD).

Representative Experience

Represented large financial services corporation in connection with the rollup of direct and indirect equity interests in a large portfolio of low-income housing tax credit properties into a master equity fund—as well as an offering of interests in the multi-billion dollar master fund. This transaction represents one of the largest secondary market offerings in the history of the low-income housing tax credit industry.
Represented Ventura Foods in the sale of its Marie’s dressings and Dean’s Dip businesses to Brynwood Partners.
