Elizabeth Dye | Lawyer

Elizabeth Dye is counsel located in the firm’s Houston office focusing her practice on complex insurance coverage disputes and construction claims, with a particular focus on international matters. She has experience in jurisdictions across the country, as well as with administered and non-administered arbitrations and before state and federal courts.

Her practice bridges domestic litigation and international arbitration, providing clients with end-to-end representation in high-value, cross-border disputes. Elizabeth has served as counsel to an investor in an ICSID arbitration against a South American state, represented a construction company in an AAA arbitration arising from a toll-road project, and advised energy and technology clients in multimillion-dollar insurance-coverage disputes, including claims following the Colonial Pipeline outage and Superstorm Sandy. She also represents clients in insurance recovery litigation, including builder’s risk, liability and commercial property coverage, as well as specialized coverages such as directors and officers liability, cyber and commercial crime insurance.

Represents an investor in an ICSID arbitration with State related to modernization of a refinery in South America.
Represents investment firms in connection with directors and officers liability claims.
Represented a construction company in AAA arbitration related to project constructing, expanding and upgrading toll roads.

Represented a software company in commercial crime coverage claim for losses stemming from a phishing incident.

Represented a university in business interruption claim under Owner-Controlled Insurance Program for losses in connection with Superstorm Sandy.

Represented a professional services organization in claim for coverage of liability for third-party losses stemming from disclosure of protected information.

Represented a downstream oil and gas company in contested business interruption claim for losses stemming from the Colonial Pipeline outage.
