Gina Colarusso’s practice focuses on trade remedies, customs and trade policy. She guides states and private sector clients through complex regulatory proceedings and related litigation.
Gina advises governments and private companies, both foreign and domestic, on complex matters impacting cross-border trade. Her practice primarily focuses on international trade remedy proceedings and associated litigation before the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. International Trade Commission, USTR, the Court of International Trade, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She also advises clients on customs and trade policy matters. Gina also has experience counseling government parties in binational dispute settlement and in WTO proceedings.

Gina stays active in pro bono work, where she has primarily focused on voting rights and the protection of reproductive freedom. She previously practiced as an international trade attorney at another leading global law firm.
Representative Experience
- Represented foreign governments, exporters and U.S. importers in trade remedy cases, such as antidumping, subsidies (CVD), safeguard, circumvention, Section 232 and Section 301.
- Advised clients from across the globe, spanning a diverse array of industries, including automotives, consumer goods, chemicals, steel, aluminum, energy and agricultural products.
- Defended a foreign government before binational dispute settlement panels, constituted under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and its (USMCA), regarding alleged subsidies provided to softwood lumber producers in Canada.
