Drawing on in-house experience at a major technology company, Jeffrey Niemczura brings a practical, business-focused perspective to complex discovery challenges.

Jeff advises clients in complex litigation,regulatory and internal investigations on all aspects of electronic discovery. He counsels on information governance and litigation preparedness, including data management policies, legal holds and readiness assessments. He negotiates ESI protocols and protective orders, develops collection and review strategies using technology-assisted and AI-assisted review, manages discovery disputes in federal and state courts, and advises on the use and governance of large language models and other artificial intelligence tools.

Prior to joining Pillsbury, Jeff served as of counsel in the eDiscovery practice of another international law firm after spending more than six years as a discovery attorney at Google, where he managed discovery across a large docket of patent, employment and antitrust matters, and helped develop and maintain policies and practices covering the data lifecycle.
