Sarah M. Robitaille focuses on a broad range of government contract law, including contract and regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, bid protests and claims.

Sarah has advised clients on FedRAMP compliance, foreign ownership and control, cost accounting standards and internal investigations. She represents a diverse range of clients, including cybersecurity companies, research institutes, nuclear utilities, aerospace manufacturers and service contractors in actions before the Court of Federal Claims, Government Accountability Office, and Boards of Contract Appeals.

Representative Experience

  • Represented numerous government contractors and investors in M&A transactions, advising on government contract compliance, negotiations and deal execution for acquisitions, divestitures and strategic investments across the defense and technology sectors.
  • Represented the University of Chicago in its successful $500 million bid to manage the Department of Energy’s Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, advising on compliance, personnel and performance issues and continuing to support ongoing obligations.
  • Represented nuclear utilities in high-value breach of contract claims against the U.S. Department of Energy for failure to collect spent nuclear fuel, pursuing damages claims exceeding $450 million.
