Steve Meltzer is a partner in the law firm’s Corporate practice, where he focuses his activities on information technology, life sciences, health care, defense and intelligence-related projects.

Steve represents numerous private and publicly held businesses in a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, divestitures, joint ventures, international and domestic licensing and distribution agreements, venture capital financings, public and private securities offerings, “going private” transactions and financial restructurings. He counsels companies and investors in capital formation, governance, securities compliance, employment and compensation matters and shareholder issues. He is a founding Advisory Board member of the SPARK AI Consortium at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, a former member of Pillsbury’s Managing Board and was named Best Lawyers’ Lawyer of the Year in Mergers and Acquisitions Law – Washington, DC, (2020).
