In its 2023 guide to the leading law firms and lawyers across the United States, Chambers USA recognized Pillsbury as a leader in 51 practices areas, including 22 at the national level. Additionally, 96 firm attorneys earned a total of 109 individual recognitions, with six making their first appearance in the guide.

More than a third of the firm’s total practice rankings were in the top two bands this year, with Pillsbury earning top-tier national rankings for Construction; Outsourcing; Energy: Electricity (Finance); Transportation: Aviation: Finance; Transportation: Aviation: Regulatory; and Food & Beverages: Alcohol. The firm also secured inaugural practice rankings in the Nationwide Climate Change,  California White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations and Northern Virginia Real Estate categories.
