Widely recognized for innovation in emerging technologies, Liz is a pioneer in distributed ledger and digital asset matters, structuring first-of-their-kind relationships for institutions adopting blockchain and cryptocurrency solutions. She regularly counsels clients on AI procurement, integration and governance. Liz guides highly regulated institutions in migrating business-critical workloads to the cloud and ensures that the full commercial value and expected benefits of those moves are delivered. She also advises on sophisticated data center initiatives—everything from consolidation and footprint reduction to expansion projects required to handle AI and quantum computing. Her approach is practical and outcomes-driven, providing strategic commercial guidance that aligns legal architecture with business needs.
Pillsbury’s internationally recognized Global Sourcing & Technology Transactions team has been Liz’s professional home throughout her career in Washington, DC, New York and now Austin, where she was instrumental in launching Pillsbury’s Austin office. Her passion for the practice and its ever-evolving challenges, together with her unwavering commitment to helping clients not only navigate complexity but also advance their broader business goals, led her to ultimately serve as its leader. In early 2025, she was elected to Pillsbury’s firmwide board, underscoring the lasting value she brings to clients and to the firm. Her board service builds on years of hands-on leadership of cross-office deal teams and prior management roles, including service on the board’s Finance Committee and as chair of the Nominating Committee.
Beyond client work, Liz contributes to the profession as a member of American University Washington College of Law’s Digital Asset Law Committee and as a contributor to the Women in Tech community in Austin.
Liz earned her J.D., cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from Tulane University. She is admitted in New York and Texas. Her work has been recognized by Chambers for Outsourcing & Technology in Texas, USA Nationwide, and in the Global Guide; by The Legal 500 U.S. (Outsourcing); and by the Financial Times (“Highly Commended,” Great Legal Idea).

- AI and Cloud Transformation. Assisted several systemically important (Too Big to Fail) financial institutions with the strategy and execution of global AI adoption, including migration of critical services such as email, enterprise applications and core processing platforms to the cloud.
- Digital Assets and Fintech. Advised an online financial services provider on software platform transactions enabling digital currency trading; structured fintech investments involving AI and blockchain for major financial institutions.
- Global IT Outsourcing. Negotiated transformational, multitower IT infrastructure and Applications Development and Maintenance (AD&M) outsourcings with IBM and Wipro for one of the world’s largest providers of financial asset management services to institutional investors.

- Digital Transformation in Financial Services. Orchestrated a multi-year, cross-border digital transformation for a global financial institution—building AI guardrails with hyperscalers, modernizing core platforms, unlocking billions in strategic value and strengthening regulatory and operational risk postures.
- Enterprise Generative AI. Enabled a global investment bank to be an early mover on enterprise generative AI—securing protective terms, de-risking rollout across the bank and establishing a scalable commercial and governance model for future AI and cloud adoption.
- Telecom Device Ecosystem. Structured a multibillion-dollar, long-horizon device-ecosystem program for a Fortune 50 telecom, aligning legal, commercial and technical tracks into an integrated agreement matrix that drives distribution reach and life cycle economics.
- Cloud Migration. Led a mission-critical cloud migration for a leading payroll/HCM provider—stabilizing vendor end-of-life risk, rightsizing economics and sequencing a global SAP transition without business disruption.
- Post-Acquisition Integration. Guided cornerstone vendor renegotiations and post-acquisition integration for a major consumer-finance bank—unlocking better economics, tightening SLAs and harmonizing templates to accelerate future deal flow.
- ERP Modernization. Executed a multiphase ERP re-platform for a global logistics leader—reducing technical debt, enabling multiregion scalability and positioning the enterprise for data-driven operations.
- G-SIFI Cloud Modernization. Delivered a next-generation cloud blueprint for one of the world’s largest globally systemically important financial institutions (G-SIFIs), migrating critical workloads to improve resilience, reduce run costs and accelerate product innovation.
- Landmark Outsourcing. Closed a first-generation, multitower IT outsourcing for a leading cloud services provider—driving cost efficiencies, standardizing tooling and instituting a metrics-aligned, business-friendly pricing model.
