Pillsbury Global Sourcing & Technology Transactions partner Brian Bodor has 25+ years of experience advising both private sector and government clients on matters involving technology and operations.
Brian advises clients in the areas of information technology and business process outsourcing, systems integration, technology licensing, telecommunications, security, privacy and analytics. He helps clients reduce operational costs and risks, guiding them from the earliest stages of determining delivery and sourcing strategies to RFx development, negotiations, contracting and post-contract management. In addition to assisting private sector clients, Brian is considered a go-to adviser to state and local government entities.

- Advised the cities of Memphis and Minneapolis on large IT outsourcing projects, another major city on implementation of a 911 system, and Wyoming’s highway patrol on deployment of dash cameras.
- Represented an international grocery retailer on a global IT infrastructure outsourcing project, a store network transformation and managed network services outsourcing project, and an ERP software integration matter.
- Negotiated a $500 million+ global managed network services and network transport services transaction for a major financial institution.

- Advised a major sporting goods retailer in connection with 15 various licensing, systems integration, telecommunications and IT services transactions involving store operations.
- Negotiated mainframe hardware leasing, procurement of analytics functionality and implementation of a secure platform for client communications on behalf of a large financial institution.
- Worked with a well-known product manufacturer and retailer to reduce risk by outsourcing infrastructure support for SAP operations.

- Counseled a major credit card provider in connection with the outsourcing of IT infrastructure functions, as well as other transactions involving core banking and HR business process functions.
- Defended a global manufacturer in connection with a SAP licensing dispute.
