Pillsbury represented Prima Mortgage Investment Trust LLC as a co-lender advancing more than $100 million of a $200 million acquisition loan. The loan was used to finance the purchase of DreamWorks Animation’s headquarters and campus in Glendale, California.

The Dreamworks facility—which consists of five buildings and 460,000 square feet—was purchased by South Korean firm Hana Asset Management Co. Ltd. as well as real estate investor and property manager Ocean West Capital Partners. The purchase and loan closed on November 17.

The New York-based Pillsbury real estate team that advised Prima on the financing was led by partners Caroline Harcourt and Andrew Weiner. Counsel Katherine Barger and associate Christian Scarlett were also heavily involved.
