Janine Stanisz, an Insurance Recovery & Advisory counsel in Pillsbury’s New York office, has been identified as one of just six attorneys throughout the U.S. as a Law360 Rising Star for 2021 in the insurance category.
Stanisz was also among only 180 attorneys in any legal category to be acknowledged as an attorney under 40 “whose legal accomplishments transcend their age.” The winners were chosen among more than 1400 nominations spanning 38 practice areas from more than 80 law firms.
Stanisz is a member of Pillsbury’s Insurance Recovery & Advisory practice, which Law360 designated as a Practice Group of the Year in 2020, 2016, 2015 and 2010. She focuses her practice on advising and representing individual and corporate policyholders in insurance coverage matters, specifically those involving CGL, property and D&O policies. During her career, she has represented policyholders on business interruption and property losses after explosions, Superstorm Sandy, Hurricane Maria and other catastrophic events, and secured defense and indemnification coverage for product liability and bodily injury claims, and for alleged wrongful acts of directors and officers.
