Pillsbury represented Active-Semi International in its acquisition by Qorvo Inc., a radio frequency solutions provider. Active-Semi is a private fabless supplier of programmable analog power solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Active-Semi will become part of Qorvo’s infrastructure and defense products group. The addition is expected to expand Qorvo’s addressable markets by over $3 billion. The acquired company’s technologies are positioned to intersect multiple long-term trends in the 5G, industrial, data center, automotive and smart home fields by addressing the increasing demand for efficient power solutions. The transaction is expected to close in Qorvo’s first fiscal quarter, ending June 29.

Active-Semi, based in Richardson, Texas, has over 140 employees worldwide. Its programmable mixed signal power solutions aim to give customers simplicity, efficiency and design flexibility.
