A team of Pillsbury lawyers led by Corporate partner Christina Pearson represented merchandise and personalized gifts retailer CafePress in its sale to Snapfish LLC, a personalized photo service. Financial terms were not disclosed.

According to the Daily Journal, the acquisition will create a combined platform of photograph and non-photo-based products that would produce hundreds of thousands of personalized products for consumers globally. CafePress will have access to more manufacturing, marketing and merchandising capabilities as a result of the deal. After the deal closes, Snapfish will have access to more than one billion content items, along with creations that are crowdsourced from more than two million independent designers. The transaction is also expected to bring partnerships to Snapfish with major entertainment properties.

Along with Pearson, the Pillsbury team included Jorge del Calvo, George Willman, Alex Tinucci, Julie Park, Charmaine Lindley, Supriya Krishnan in Silicon Valley, Bruce Ericson in San Francisco and Catherine Meyer in Los Angeles.
