The Deal has released a report highlighting the key takeaways from a recent webcast titled “ESG in Power and Utilities M&A" which was moderated by Pillsbury partner and Private Equity team leader Stephen Amdur. Panel participants included leading professionals from Sempra Energy, Morgan Stanley, Neuberger Berman and Abernathy MacGregor.
“With the increased attention aimed at ESG-related reporting, firms need to take additional actions to ensure the accuracy of their ESG disclosures,” Amdur noted. “Investors and companies must be certain that actual processes and practices align with stated goals,” he said.
