Pillsbury advised PG&E Corporation on its collaboration with Lockheed Martin, Salesforce and Wells Fargo to address the risk of catastrophic wildfires. On January 26, 2026, the four companies announced the co-launch of EMBERPOINTTMLLC, a purpose-built venture that will integrate next-generation wildfire solutions to help first responders detect, prevent and fight catastrophic wildfires.

EMBERPOINTTM will leverage AI, autonomous systems and integrated command-and-control technologies to enable earlier fire detection, limit wildfire spread and enhance coordination across mitigation and response efforts. The platform will provide agencies and utilities with access to proven, state-of-the-art systems—without the burden of development costs—allowing communities to benefit from advanced, scalable and affordable wildfire prevention capabilities.

Upon receipt of regulatory approvals, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, a subsidiary of PG&E Corporation, will contribute deep wildfire mitigation experience, including proven layers of protection and a track record of deploying effective risk management programs across geographically diverse communities.
